I had my real problems connecting my MacBook unibody Panasonic Viera 42 "1080p tv. I always had black lines on both sides of the TV and play around with him, does not seem to solve the problem was that it was up to that turn off the TV and leave overscan overscan checked on Mac solved the problem!
